In honor of the 25th anniversary of The Bodyguard, powerhouse Christina Aguilera paid tribute to the late Whitney Houston during the 2017 American Music Awards. Introduced by Academy Award winner Viola Davis, the singer sang a medley of “I’m Every Woman”, “Run to You”, “I Have Nothing,” and Billboard chart topper, “I Will Always Love You.”
Though no one will ever replace The Voice herself, the Genie In A Bottle singer honored the legend during a moving performance of classic tunes that brought the crowd to their feet.
Before the world lost her, Whitney Houston won 22 American Music Awards throughout her career. Watch the performance below and tell us what you think.
