Just in time for the holidays Knox Entertainment l.l.c., is on the way to help persons in need this Christmas Holiday season with Marquise Knox’s 1st Annual Blue Christmas Toy Drive and Christmas Holiday Blues Concert. On November 1st the company and 27 year old Blues prodigy announced the toy drive to support local women & children shelters and those in transitional housing.

“One of the most important things to me has always been hope. If you can do anything in your power to provide hope to a child, or even a family, that is making change happen. I want to use my blessing, to plant seeds for more blessings in the lives of people that need it the most,” explains Knox.

Drop locations for the event are currently setup at KDHX with more to be announced later this week. All donations must be unwrapped and can range from toys, clothing, books, instruments, gift cards, non-perishable food and canned good, and/or financial donations. All items collected will support shelters and families in transitional housing.

The toy drive will end on December 16th  with an incredible night of Blues Music at the Angad Arts Hotel inside the Grand Ball Room from 6pm to 9pm. Knox Entertainment’s, Alonzo Townsend promises it to be a night to remember,

“This inaugural event and concert is to benefit our youth and their families in our community around us that are in need or are unable to provide gifts and clothing this holiday season. This event will serve as a night to come together in the spirit of love, music, and taking care of each other.”

Tickets for the event are $30 and will include entry to the concert, a Unity Champagne Toast, a digital download of Marquise’s latest album, “Black & Blue, and seating amongst St. Louis Blues and Soul Music legends who will also be in attendance for the event. Donations and Unwrapped gifts will also be accepted the night of the event as well.
