Nicki Minaj Teams Up With H&M This Holiday Season

Since she’s appeared on the scene, Nicki Minaj has shown she is a force to be reckoned with fashion wise. Not afraid to rock both simplistic and extreme couture looks, Minaj is now teaming up with fashion company H&M this upcoming holiday season.

Nicki Minaj has collaborated with many companies in the past, with much success in her two lipstick collections with MAC Cosmetics. The platinum-selling artist dressed in a custom gown to the Met Gala this past May when she revealed that she was working on a “special collaboration.”

Minaj took it to Instagram to announce the collaboration on Halloween. H&M revealed that their 2017 holiday campaign film will star Minaj as well as actor Jesse Williams, and to also show off the brand’s festive fashions for the holiday.

The film, which is directed by Johan Renck, is a modern take on the classic fairytale which features a little girl who’s trying to save the holiday season from the evil brother of Santa Claus.

In a press release for H&M, Minaj said, “I love the film’s overall empowering message. I love seeing this young girl become the champion that lives in all of us. There’s always magic in the air during the holidays.”
