Now in its eighth year, the  Freestyle partnership between OHSU Doernbecher Children’s Hospital and Nike have raised more $3 million for projects at the hospital. With a new collection slated to launch on November 5th, both sponsors hope to not only raise more funding and awareness in the treatment programs for serious illnesses, but to also hearten the young patients currently under those therapies.

From Milwauki, OR, Isaiah Scott wanted to express his battle with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia by his creation – a Superman themed Air Jordan IV. Redone in all black suede with Kryptonite green and royal blue accents, there is even a small facsimile of Scott “peeking” out on the back half of the sneaker. On the bottom, a translucent outsole to drew even more attention to this eye-catching model. Priced at $175 for adult sizes and $120 for youth editions, the  Doernbecher Freestyle 2011 –  IV by Isaiah Scott will be available at select  retail locations starting November 5th.

Release Date: November 5th, 2011 (Saturday)
