Pumpkins are full of rich sources of minerals like potassium, calcium, phosphorus and zinc which are great for acne prone skin. Applying pumpkin to your skin will act as a antioxidant which will help to reduce acne and heal acne scars. Pumpkins help to promote skin cell renewal which helps to keep skin younger and vibrant due to its ability to fight off free radicals that are believed to speed up the aging process.
To use pumpkin as a face mask simply cut open a small pumpkin remove the seeds and puree it in a blender. Once the pumpkin has been pureed to perfection add in yogurt and honey. Apply a thin layer to your face and let it sit for 15-20 minutes.
