Truth is… this journey we’re on called life is not for the faint of heart. You will have days, weeks, and times it will feel like months or years that it’s an endless cycle of “what the [expletive]!” It sucks when you’re going through challenges or disappointment, but the difference between the situation and the outcome is all mental stamina.

Truth is…. it’s not that the person that looks like it’s all good is good or they’re faking it! No, it’s not that at all. However, my Granny taught me as a child that you don’t have to look like what you’re going through. And she reminded me that when people ask, ” how are you”? They aren’t really looking for a rundown of your sh*t-show.  Truth is…they’re simply being polite. It’s really a rhetorical question.

Each day is a new day to get it right. You have the right to feel your feelings, but you can’t allow your feelings to dictate your life. Everything you’ve ever experienced had a purpose. Use your pain before it uses you.

Yeah, I know it’s easier said than done huh??

Truth is…it’s easier to gravitate to the crap. Negative thought and melee of the mind will exist if you do nothing at all to fuel it. It’s there just waiting to grow like weeds.

You have to decide to be bigger and better than your circumstances. The world will cheat you enough so, there’s no need to cheat yourself. STOP CHEATING!!!

So, the wrap up here is this…we all have freedom of choice. Even deciding to choose is a choice. Decide to be the best version of you and even when you fail—fail forward.  The sum total of a life is about choices and decisions. Choose wisely!

Until next time!
