Drake - The Rap World's New Philanthropist

These days rappers are doing more than just rapping about all the money they have. They’re actually giving it away! Whether its Chance the Rapper making Chicago a better place, or French Montana helping women in Africa, is spreading like wildfire.

In recent news, Drake has taken on the tasks of spreading the wealth. In his newest video, God’s Plan, the Toronto-born rapper is seen giving away the money slated to be used to produce his video.

In the beginning the screen reads, “The budget for this video was $996,631.90. We gave it all away. Don’t tell the label,” and then it proceeds into the footage of him showing up at random places throughout Florida paying for patron’s groceries, store items, dancing and giving out checks, delivering cars, and shopping sprees.

Although, we’re sure the label is privy to Drake’s huge act of charity, it’s still nice to see his goodwill and wealth being shared with people who need it. At the end of the video, interviews were done with recipients and you can see the genuine surprise and reactions of them all. Watch below.
